Kickin It

02 Nov

James actually did go trick-or-treating, he just did it Friday at work.  Tim took him up and down the hallways, and I think he had fun, he just wasn’t all that sure about getting candy.  A friend of Tim’s offered up a fine selection of candy which James politely said not thank you to.  A little confounded, this friend offered up a granola bar.  This too was turned down politely.  Unsure what to do, he then offered up a box of double A batteries.  James said “Oooh Yes PLEASE!”  Now if only I could pass up the candy….

James had fun kicking around in the fall leaves on the way into Pre-School this morning.  Before opening the school’s front door, he turned to me and said, “Mom, it is kind of leavish today.” I couldn’t agree more.

It’s leafish today. Kids are awesome.

Oh, and the commentor before you was my sister so she’s entitled to call me a freak. Takes one to know one.

Hilarious! Next year, for his birthday, screw the giant Transformer — we’re giving James an 8-pack of AAs!

You could probably bring him twigs and he’d be just as content.
