Real Life in 3D

12 Aug

I know that sometimes I verge on over sharing the daily minutia.  But part of the reason I blog is so that when I’m old and feeble (next year?) I won’t forget all those wonderful little moments, that can disappear amongst all the other the other junk that happens during the day. So here it is…

The setup….

Tim and I were eating dinner, James was bored and decided that he was finished and he was going to get his play on.  He was a wild man, dancing, singing the Kung Fu fighting song “Kung Fu fighting, everybody was kung fu fighting, dun, nuh, nuh…. running, chewing on his arm to let me know he wanted fruit leather (I know? file that under the weird stuff that kids do), jumping, doing kung fu.

There was a pause in the action, James noticed his 3D glasses, and put them on.  He turned around, looked at me, and said, “Mom you look 3D!”

….and scene

That is a great moment to remember! I LOVE it! What a fantastic moment you captured with your words!

PS I am going to be old and feeble next year too. Darn it!

Nice Girl- Personally I think I look thinner in 2D. He really was singing Kung Fu fighting, but no it didn’t impact his allowance.
