James is very certain of himself lately.
While driving to Seattle to visit family on the 4th, James announced that “the Space Needle does NOT take people to space.”
During breakfast James asked for fruits. I said “honey, it is fruit, not fruits.” James’s response….”but mama, I like fruits better.”
While watching Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, James said, more to himself than anyone “that Ewok hit his self in the head, that was funny….yeah (solemn nod). Ewoks are cute bears…they have spears….yeah.”
It isn’t so much what he is saying, it is the tone. He is so certain, so self-assured. He has become a tiny subject matter expert on all things from popsicle to movies.

I think James would get along very well with my daughter, Averi. Together, they may be able to rule the world! 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by! I wanted to tell you that I am horrible at figuring out blog-related things but I finally figured out how to make my blog name link back to my blog when I comment. That one took me a few months. I noticed that yours doesn’t and thought you might want to know. Of course, I can’t remember how to do it… 🙂

I looked around and tried to figure out the linking thing and then gave up (after a sort of embarrassing amount of time) but I see that you did it! I would ask how but I would likely just forget… It is truly a wonder that I ever started a blog to begin with!
